Major organ systems (cardiovascular, respiratory, renal, skeletal, muscle, gastrointestinal) form and function compared across taxa (within vertebrates) and environments (heat, cold, salt, and oxygen stress). Two lectures, one lab (three hours); one term Prerequisite(s): BIOLOGY 2A03, 2B03 (or ISCI 2A18 or LIFE SCI 2B03); and registration in an Honours Biology, Honours Molecular Biology and Genetics or Honours Biology Combined program.
