This course builds on students’ communicative skills in Mandarin Chinese acquired through completion of CHINESE 2X03 through speaking, listening, reading and writing practice. Emphasis is on building communicative skills and acquiring fundamental skills to read and write Mandarin in formal and informal contexts. Four hours; one term Prerequisite(s): CHINESE 2X03 or permission of the Director of the Confucius Institute based on the satisfactory completion of a placement test. Antirequisite(s): CHINESE 2Z06
