CMST 4S03 INTERPERSONAL COMMUNICATION

This course offers an introduction to contemporary interpersonal communication theories and research. Topics include: small group communication, persuasive communication, argumentation strategies, conflict resolution, as well as computer mediated, intercultural, international and political communication. Seminar (two hours); one term Prerequisite(s): LINGUIST 1AA3 and six units of Linguistics courses above Level I; or permission of the Department Cross-List(s): LINGUIST 4S03 Offered in alternate years. This course is administered by the Department of Linguistics and Languages.
