The course covers various topics that are relevant to the financial decision making of individuals. These decisions include investment, retirement planning, debt and credit management, renting vs. buying a home, insurance and risk management and personal income tax planning and strategies. Prerequisite(s): COMMERCE 2FA3 or ECON 2I03; and registration in any Commerce; or Engineering and Management; or Honours Business Informatics program. (B.Com. students -see Note 6 above.) Not open to students with credit in COMMERCE 4FX3, if the topic was Personal Financial Management (2004-2005 and 2005-2006).
