HISTORY 4A06 RACISM AND HUMAN RIGHTS IN POST-CONFEDERATION CANADA

This course examines ethnic and racist prejudices and discrimination in Canada including attitudes towards immigrants from Asia and Europe, African Canadians and Indigenous peoples. It will also explore the efforts of human rights advocates. Seminar (two hours); two terms Prerequisite(s): One of HISTORY 2TT3, 2UU3 or 3N03; and registration in Level IV of an Honours program in History Departmental permission required.
