This course brings together students from a variety of disciplines such as: nursing, geography, business, social work, health studies, engineering and health sciences to acquire and integrate knowledge of the principles of primary health care with a focus on intersectoral action and community participation, assets-based community development processes, ecosystems approaches to health, integrated knowledge exchange approaches with citizens, and population health interventions for healthier neighbourhoods and communities.
