LABR ST 3A03 ECONOMICS OF LABOUR MARKET ISSUES

This course applies economic analysis to issues of importance in the labour market. Topics vary and may include: women in the Canadian labour market, discrimination in hiring and promotion, unemployment, job loss and workplace closing, work sharing. Three lectures; one term Prerequisite(s): ECON 1A06, or both ECON 1B03 and 1BB3, and registration in a Labour Studies program; or permission of the Director Cross-List(s): ECON 2A03 Not open to students with credit or registration in ECON 3D03.
