MECH ENG 3C03 MANUFACTURING ENGINEERING

A general introduction, encompassing the wide field of activities from iron and steel making through casting, rolling, forging, to cold forming, metal cutting, welding, bonding, electrical machining, surface treatment, mechanical handling, assembly, cleaning, packaging. Three lectures; first term Prerequisite(s): Registration in any Mechanical Engineering or Chemical Engineering program, or, registration in Level III or IV of the Manufacturing Engineering Technology program.
