The motion control part of this course covers the theory and operation of AC and DC drive systems and digital motion control. The robotics portion of the course covers the following topics: robot anatomy and attributes, end effectors, robot programming and applications. Three lectures, one lab (three hours); one term Prerequisite(s): PROCTECH 3CT3, 3PL3, 3SC3 and registration in Level III or above of Process Automation Technology
