This course deals with changing population structure, economic support of the aged, family of later life, the sociology of retirement, widowhood, death, bereavement, and institutionalization. Three hours (lectures and discussion); one term Prerequisite(s): SOCIOL 1A06 Not open to students registered in a Gerontology program as of September 1998. Priority will be given to students registered in a Sociology program.
