Taught in Mandarin Chinese. The topics of this course include selected Chinese classics, Chinese arts, Chinese customs, history of Chinese science, Chinese architectures, Cultural exchanges between China and other countries. Three hours; one term Prerequisite(s): Permission of the Director of the Confucius Institute. A placement test should be taken before registration. The Department reserves the right to place students in the course most appropriate to their abilities.
